Civic integration for international students

Are you studying in Belgium as an international student? Do you want to focus on your studies (and student life) here? Don't waste your time trying to find out how life here works.
Start the civic integration programme for international students. You're entitled and it's free!

Your advantages?

• The social orientation course focuses on what is important to you:
  • your residence status as a student,
  • extending your stay,
  • student jobs,
  • healthcare
  • what a 'search year' is
  • …
• You will receive an integration certificate after you have successfully completed the programme. It may help you acquire Belgian citizenship.
• You will get assistance for the recognition of your diplomas and for all kinds of legal questions, such as concerning your residence status or your desire to become a Belgian citizen.
• You will immediately expand your network. This course is only open to international higher education students.
• You quickly become more self-reliant. Handy in a foreign country, right?
• Classes take place outside university and college exam periods
• You will discover our Ateliers P, including on nationality acquisition
• ...

How does it work?

• This is a 7 week online course
• You get 3 hours of lessons twice a week
• Exception: the Summer Course (see' When')

What else do you get?

• Diploma-recognition: do you have diplomas you would like to have recognised in Belgium?

• Voluntary participation in information sessions and activities

A programme counsellor supports you throughout the entire integration process.
