Civic Integration via Self-study

Advantages

You receive a full social orientation course in English on living and working in Brussels and Belgium
Flexibility: you choose when to study or complete tasks

We start with a 3-hour online group session (not compulsory)
Each week, you go through new modules and submit tasks by agreed deadlines
Questions and problems can be addressed to the teacher via Google Classroom or e-mail
You are entitled to 1 hour of individual coaching by the teacher (on request)
You will be evaluated on the basis of your commitment during the course period and an online test
We end with a 3-hour online group session (not compulsory)

You will need to set aside 6-7 hours per week for the self-study social orientation course.

Diploma recognition
Learning Dutch: you will attend a Dutch language course (or self-study) via the Huis van het Nederlands Brussel (Brussels House of Dutch)
Pathway to work: we gladly refer you to Actiris (Brussels Employment Office) if you are looking for a job.
Non-binding participation in information sessions and activities.

A programme counsellor will assist you throughout the entire programme.

You live in Brussels and are interested in integrating
You are digitally literate
You can plan and work independently
You have good knowledge of English, both oral and written. The course is in English.
You are willing to learn Dutch
You are committed to the whole course
You have a 12 year schooling minimum
You have your own laptop or pc with internet connection
