bon
bon was established with the coming into force of the integration decree of the Flemish Community on 1st April 2004.
It was born out of the merging of the three Brussels-based welcome offices: tracé, Compas and Oniko.
Until the end of 2006, bon concentrated on newcomers: foreign nationals registered with a Brussels municipality since less than a year.

The target group of the integration programme was enlarged on 1st January 2007 to include all foreign nationals legally residing in Belgium (except those intending to stay in the country for a limited period).
Foreign nationals who have been living in Brussels for over a year are now also welcome at bon, as are Belgian nationals if they and one of their parents were born abroad.
bon now stands for: ‘Brussels onthaalbureau’.
